Nowadays many multinational companies are producing commercial foods, but are the commercial food really the only option for dog to be fed with? Expert are not united what kind of food is the best choice for dogs. Some experts are advocates of industrially made food; some speak in favor of homemade dog food. And some are defending raw feeding (raw meaty bones and BARF diet - Biologically Appropriate Raw Food).

 In the end, you as a dog owner should decide what kind of food you will feed your dog with, or, you can simply use a mix of different diets as long as a diet for your dog is balanced providing the dog with all necessary nutrition elements.

Today many dog owners feed their dogs with industrially prepared food as this is very easy thing to do and in this way they don’t have to think about balanced dog meals every day. A dog owner should also reconsider alternatives to industrial food such as freshly prepared home made food and raw feeding and maybe  use a combination of all three.
